reflections

Looking on the bright side of rain I have discovered that it is fun to photograph pools of water for the reflections within them.

Looking on the bright side of rainy days grey clouds and rain creates these pools to take these photographs.

There are many bright sides to rain, it nurtures, nourishes and ends droughts. It brings green upon green.

Why look on the bright side of rain? We get LOTS of it and sometimes it rains so much that people get sick of it. Elsewhere in Australia they would despise hearing us speak this way because they have water shortages and restrictions.

I LOVE rain, and remember days living where it never seemed to rain. We rushed outside when its sound came tumbling down on the tin rooves. We embraced it with eagerness. I still love rain but now I embrace the sunshine! Oh what glorious blue, not a cloud in the sky!
